We also use Botox to lift the brows, slim the face (Botox masseter), relax the neck muscles ( or platysmal bands) among other uses. We can help with bruxism or teeth grinding or jaw clenching. Botox can also smoothen the lines under the eyes. We can relax the DAO or depressor anguli oris to uplift the corners of the mouth. We can also provide some enhancement of the jaw (Nefertiti lift).
How long does Botox treatment last?
Depending on the area treated, Botox can last 3-4 months. It also depends on the patients metabolism. With repeated treatments, it trains the muscles to relax and thus have a compounding effect. Botox injected into the masseters (jaw muscles) can last from 6-10 months. Botox around the mouth lasts for about 6 weeks. Putting less amount of Botox than appropriate will result in shorter duration. Placing higher number of units in general results to a longer duration.

Is Botox, Dysport and neurotoxins safe? What are the side effects of Botox?
Botox is safe and effective when injected by an experienced medical doctor like we have at Reverza. Botox can drop the eyelids, eyebrows, and cause facial asymmetry if not performed by someone who is board certified. Botox can give you a frozen face if too much toxin is injected. Complications can only be addressed by a medical doctor.

A lot of factors come in to play like the size of the face, how strong the muscles are, age and person’s metabolism. A full assessment is required during the appointment.
Is Botox cheap? Is cheap Botox really cheap?
Botox is not cheap. There are other brands slightly cheaper than Botox like Xeomin. We are priced very competitively in the market so we can help people be more confidently beautiful. We offer deals if one avail of at least 50 units of Botox or if it is combined with other treatments during the scheduled appointment. We charge per unit of neurotoxin or Botox placed. On special occasions we offer some deals with neurotoxins. We don’t participate and will never participate in Groupon deals or coupon marketing. One should be careful in choosing their injector and place of practice. Some injectors use bootleg products that are highly diluted with water.
